PROJECT DETAILS: (2013, 2014) – AGP placed over 45,000 square yards of 8” RCC Pavement for the
USACE in Fort Campbell, KY. The RCC was placed at 25-30 foot pavement lanes with control joints cut
both transverse and longitudinally at 12.5-15 feet. AGP partnered with the USACE to review and
modernize the existing USACE RCC Specification. As a result of this collaboration, AGP is confident
that they can provide the USACE a cost effective quality RCC Pavement for multiple applications
MIX DESIGN: Coarse Aggregate – 1,600 #, Fine Aggregate – 1,800#, Type I/II Cement – 380#, Fly
Ash – 160#
PRIMARY STRENGTH REQUIREMENTS AND TESTING: Compressive – 4,500 psi @ 28 days,
Flexural – 500 psi @ 28 days splitting tensile, Density – 98.0% Modified Proctor
