 Project Details:

The Rollcon team faced a unique challenge with a project that featured an intricate geometric design and complex block-out requirements. This endeavor involved sharp angles that demanded precise planning and execution. Over the course of just twenty paving days, the team successfully installed 561,000 square feet of 7-inch RCC over a road base. RCC was chosen for its durability, cost-effectiveness, and ability to withstand heavy loads, making it the ideal material for this project. The design included several block-outs and existing obstacles where concrete was deliberately omitted to allow for future installations or to create structural voids. These elements required meticulous coordination to ensure accurate placement and alignment with the overall geometric layout. RCC was selected not only for its strength but also because it allowed for an expedited paving schedule and offered significant cost savings compared to conventional reinforced concrete paving.
